Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Loan Servicing Assistant Trainee to join our team at CNB Bank & Trust. As a Loan Servicing Assistant Trainee, you will be responsible for learning and performing various tasks associated with loan servicing, including loan booking, set-up, funding, and follow-up procedures. You will also assist with inputting, reviewing, and maintaining Lereta Real Estate Tax website for payment of real estate property taxes and tracking of delinquent taxes. Additionally, you will manage escrow accounts on Navigator, including adding, removing, disbursements, and verification of annual escrow analysis data.

Responsibilities:

Learn to perform loan booking, set-up, funding, and follow-up procedures associated with all aspects of post-closing procedures necessary in servicing and maintaining credit relationship of Bank's borrowers. Develop expertise in performing follow-up procedures for insurance requests to ensure receipt by insurer. Archive policy certificates for electronic document retention on Director. Ascertain level of insurance is appropriate and the Bank is listed as lien holder. Learn how to follow-up for replacement of canceled policies. Learn to prepare releases and satisfactions for loans. Learn to close paid file and release all necessary documentation. Learn to process, balance and post loan payments to computer system. Learn to process loan exception and tickler reports to verify loan posting accuracy and documentation tracking. Assist with inputting, review, maintaining and updating Lereta Real Estate Tax website for payment of real estate property taxes and tracking of delinquent taxes. Learn to monitor, review and resolve Lereta exceptions, identifying inconsistencies with respective counties. Assist with managing, processing and remitting Real Estate Property Taxes to relevant counties for escrowed customers via Lereta system. Learn to manage escrow accounts on Navigator including adding, removing, disbursements, and verification of annual escrow analysis data. Learn Daily Balancing; Develop ability to pay off loans through Freddie Mac. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Strong PC skills, including the ability to use multiple software programs, access multiple websites, and receive insurance bills electronically, etc. Working knowledge of accounting principles, with preferably some experience balancing General Ledger accounts Familiarity with loan documents preferred High degree of accuracy and attention to detail Good math, typing, and mechanical skills; good customer service skills by phone A team player, willing to help wherever needed and do more than is asked High school diploma or GED plus additional bank-related training or some college; or 1 to 2 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Work Schedule:

This full-time position is scheduled for 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
