Our Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Human Factors Scientist to join our Human Factors Practice in our Washington, DC office.

This role involves working with multidisciplinary teams to analyze human performance in various scenarios, including driver behavior, vehicle design, and consumer products. You will be responsible for designing and conducting human performance studies, analyzing data, and developing client contacts.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing consulting activities related to human factors in accidents and their prevention
  • Designing and conducting human performance studies, including data analysis
  • Conducting hands-on inspections and analyzing human performance in various contexts
  • Developing client relationships and working on multi-disciplinary projects
  • Conducting research and reviewing technical data and scientific literature

We are looking for a candidate with a Ph.D. in Human Factors, Engineering Psychology, or a related field, and excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in experimental design, human subjects testing, and data analysis is a plus.
