The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of the contemporary cybersecurity environment, with extensive expertise in network protection, threat mitigation, data safeguarding, and adherence to DoD and AF IT standards and protocols.

This is a full-time role that requires a strong commitment to our mission and values.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Lead Cybersecurity Solutions Architect, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Demonstrating a profound knowledge of internet technologies (such as DNS, Security, IP Routing, SSH, SFTP, HTTP/HTTPS, etc.).
  • Exhibiting a thorough understanding of IP networking technologies and utilizing software tools for performance analysis and troubleshooting, particularly at layers 2 and 3.
  • Developing and maintaining custom scripts to enhance system efficiency and minimize human error in operational tasks.
  • Applying analytical and technical skills to uphold the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of all information system assets while ensuring compliance with corporate policies, contractual obligations, and regulatory standards.
  • Managing and monitoring network and host-based intrusion prevention systems, including Full Packet Capture, Sandboxing, Data Loss Prevention, malware defense systems, vulnerability scanning tools, DDoS protection, Security Event/Information Management, host integrity verification, endpoint security, and antivirus solutions.
  • Gaining experience in the architecture, design, and management of network security technologies and best practices.
  • Engaging in network and system design to facilitate the implementation of appropriate security policies.
  • Collaborating with team members to ensure that updates to documentation related to system baselines are accurate and current.
  • Supporting LAN/WAN security solutions, including the creation and maintenance of security standards and design documentation, and assisting with the development of new security applications and hardware as needed.
  • Gaining experience with SEIM technologies and best practices, and enhancing advanced security data analytics capabilities.

Required Qualifications:

Due to the sensitive nature of our operations, U.S. Citizenship is required.

A High School Diploma with 15 years of experience, including 8 years in the DoD, or a Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline from an ABET-accredited program with 12 years of experience, including 5 years in the DoD.

An adjudicated DoD Top Secret Security clearance is required on the first day of employment.

Familiarity with cybersecurity in DoD cloud environments is essential.

Understanding of Agile methodologies, including CI/CD, DevSecOps, and DevOps practices is preferred.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills on complex technical subjects are necessary.
