Project Manager III Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager III to join our team at ConsultUSA. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating activities in various fields, including electronic data processing, information systems, systems analysis, and computer programming.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage projects for a high-performing team, ensuring timely completion and meeting project goals.
  • Schedule and facilitate meetings to discuss project progress, address challenges, and make informed decisions.
  • Manage resource allocations, ensuring that the right resources are assigned to the right projects.
  • Validate required evidence and documentation to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Review financials to ensure accurate budgeting and forecasting.
  • Collaborate with business associates to deliver solutions that meet customer needs.
  • Review project plans to plan and coordinate project activity, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
  • Manage backup, security, and user help systems to ensure seamless operations.
  • Consult with users, management, vendors, and technicians to assess computing needs and system requirements.
  • Meet with department heads, managers, supervisors, vendors, and others to solicit cooperation and resolve problems.
  • Provide users with technical support for computer problems, ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Recruit, hire, train, and supervise staff, or participate in staffing decisions to ensure a skilled and motivated team.
  • Evaluate data processing proposals to assess project feasibility and requirements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field, such as computer science, computer engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in project management, with a proven track record of success.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, and other project management tools.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and project management frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of financials, project schedules, and resource allocation.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage one's time effectively.
  • Experience with Clarizen, SharePoint, and other project management tools is a plus.
