The Materials Manager is a critical role within Matrix Project Services, LLC, responsible for ensuring the efficient flow of materials and equipment to support construction activities. This position requires a high level of organization, communication, and problem-solving skills to effectively manage inventory, procurement, and logistics.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the receipt, inspection, storage, and issuance of goods to ensure timely delivery to construction sites.
- Operate and maintain the project inventory control system, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting of materials and equipment.
- Coordinate with construction teams to fulfill requisitions for required goods and materials.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize material management control activities and staff.
- Provide regular reporting on materials and material planning/allocation to support construction activities.
- Collaborate with the Project Management Team to ensure seamless project execution.
- 10+ years of experience in inventory management and supply chain.
- Strong knowledge of industrial construction industry tools, equipment, procedures, and materials.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or Engineering, or equivalent related experience.
- Excellent organization and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, Outlook, and ERP systems.
