Job Overview:

This role is for a Technical Program Manager (TPM) within the Program Management Office (PMO) at SiFive.

The primary mission of this team is to coordinate, lead, and monitor cross-functional execution on pivotal programs throughout the entire product life cycle (PLC).


As a TPM at SiFive, you will collaborate with engineers who are enthusiastic about designing industry-leading CPU cores and the associated tools, software, and infrastructure to bring that vision to fruition, as well as product managers and marketing professionals to incorporate business objectives and metrics for a program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with stakeholders and technical leads in cross-functional teams to develop schedules, resource allocations, and comprehensive plans to achieve program objectives.
  • Create a strategy for effective execution, monitoring, and tracking while identifying critical paths, program risks, and issues from planning through execution, delivery, and support phases.
  • Coordinate activities across cross-functional groups, track dependencies, and drive teams to meet timelines and objectives.
  • Participate in technical discussions and resolve high-level project challenges.
  • Lead task management, issue reporting, and resolution.
  • Ensure effective and consistent communication and reporting of overall program status.
  • Contribute to the development and enhancement of project, program management, and product life cycle processes.
Qualifications:

  • Experience with CPU technology and related software and tools development.
  • Ability to facilitate technical discussions and drive engineering decisions.
  • Proficiency in Git/Github, JIRA, and Confluence.
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
  • Experience with project and program management tools and processes for effective planning and execution is a significant advantage.

  • BS/MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
Compensation & Benefits

In alignment with SiFive values and applicable laws, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity. We have a market-based pay structure that varies by location.

Please note that the base pay range is a guideline, and our compensation range reflects the cost of labor in the U.S. geographic market based on the role's location. Pay within these ranges varies and depends on job-related knowledge, skills, and relevant work experience.

For candidates who receive an offer, the starting salary will vary based on various factors including, but not limited to, qualifications such as skill level, competencies, and work location.

The range provided may represent a candidate range and may not reflect the full range for an individual tenured employee.

Base Pay Range
$165,600.00-$202,400.00

In addition to base pay, this role may be eligible for variable/incentive compensation and/or equity. Furthermore, this role is eligible for a comprehensive, competitive benefits package which may include healthcare and retirement plans, paid time off, and more.
