Position Summary

We are in search of a seasoned project manager specializing in semiconductor technologies to become an integral part of our dynamic team focused on developing cutting-edge timing products. The ideal candidate will blend technical expertise with business acumen, ambition with practicality, and thoroughness with approachability. This project manager will oversee the product lifecycle and guide the team from inception through to production ramp-up. As a member of the program management team, they will also devise and execute strategic initiatives to enhance product development at SiTime.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct cross-functional teams to define, develop, and successfully launch products into the market.
  • Establish project timelines, allocate resources, evaluate and mitigate risks, and outline project scope.
  • Collaborate to enhance execution across various functional teams and projects.
  • Track project performance against established plans, identify discrepancies, and implement corrective measures.
  • Guide projects through the necessary product development phase-gates and procedures.
  • Recognize, highlight, and collaboratively address challenges that arise during product development.
  • Maintain clear communication with management, stakeholders, and project teams.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to colleagues as appropriate.
  • Contribute to strategic initiatives aimed at improving the product development process at SiTime.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Advanced degree (PhD preferred) in electrical engineering, science, or a related discipline.
  • Over 5 years of relevant experience, including leadership of cross-functional and global teams.
  • Proficient in project and program management methodologies.
  • Fluency in areas such as semiconductor product development, circuit design, MEMS, semiconductor packaging, systems engineering, and product testing and qualification.
  • Skilled in MS Project, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Familiar with software tools for resource and project portfolio management (PPM).

The base salary is part of SiTime's Total Rewards Package, which compensates and recognizes employees for their contributions. This role may also qualify for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives and equity-based compensation.
