Key Responsibilities:
- Recruit and train new team members.

Main Duties:
- Capable of executing all responsibilities of a Pre-Sell Representative.
- Communicate effectively regarding special deliveries, operational needs, and customer requirements.
- Organize employee leave and cover sales routes as necessary.
- Ensure Relief Representatives are well-versed in their sales routes.
- Maintain established Team Sell and Ride with Frequency according to EDI standards.
- Complete necessary audits, surveys, and on-the-job training as required.
- Build strong business relationships with clients, discussing sales trends and influencing competitive advantages in product placement, pricing, shelf space, and location.
- Promote new products and enhance distribution of primary and secondary brands.
- Facilitate current and upcoming price promotions with clients.
- Manage display bookings and assist in constructing and merchandising large displays.
- Ensure proper product rotation on shelves and in coolers, as well as refreshing and facing stock for displays.
- Verify that all product packaging meets company standards and remove non-compliant items.
- Report any breakage and out-of-code products to the Sales Representative.
- Monitor and report on competitive activities, including new products, pricing, sampling, display initiatives, and resets.
- Ensure all point-of-sale materials are clean, functional, and up-to-date.
- Achieve pre-defined sales objectives and implement marketing programs at the retail level.
- Execute special assignments and meet selling objectives as directed by management.
- Timely transmit orders generated from daily sales activities.
- Document job performance and complete annual evaluations for assigned staff.
- Engage in night trade call activities and assist with special events in the assigned area.
- Conduct weekly product samplings.
- Regularly check emails and review all company communication platforms, responding to correspondence daily.
- Perform any additional duties as assigned.
Essential Skills:
- Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
- Self-driven and results-oriented.
- Highly organized with the capability to manage priorities and coordinate multiple projects.
- Physical ability to lift, load, unload, and move products weighing between 60 lbs and 165 lbs occasionally.
- Comfortable working in a cool environment (as low as 40 degrees).
- Ability to work independently.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
- Technical troubleshooting skills.
- Willingness to attend all required meetings and training sessions.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree preferred (subject to management discretion).
- Valid Driver's License with an acceptable driving record.
- Preferred: 3 years of experience in the beverage industry and merchandising.
- Daily travel within the designated market is required.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Physical capability to lift, push, pull, load, unload, and move products weighing up to 60 lbs frequently and up to 160 lbs occasionally.
- Flexibility to work varying hours, including nights and weekends as needed.
