Job Summary

CSL Plasma is seeking a Phlebotomist (Bilingual in Spanish) to join our team. As a Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for the efficient and effective collection of plasma from donors. This is a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of our plasma products.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Perform venipuncture on donors to begin the pheresis process, ensuring compliance with SOPs and FDA guidelines.
  2. Evaluate vein performance and make necessary corrections to expedite donation time and ensure product quality and donor safety.
  3. Monitor donor flow on the donor floor and alert Group Leader or Supervisor of any issues.
  4. Collect arm samples or whole blood samples from donors for testing.
  5. Ensure accurate recording of donor data in the electronic donor information management system.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum twelve (12) months experience in a medical or health care environment preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
