About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to join our HR Operations team at Opus Talent Solutions, a leading recruitment and staffing business in the technology and sustainability sector. As a key member of our global HR team, you will be responsible for providing HR advice and support to our US-based employee group, ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations, and contributing to the development of our HR philosophies, policies, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide responsive HR services to our US-based employee group, including advice, counsel, and documentation.
  • Manage organisational and role changes, including employee onboarding, offboarding, and benefits administration.
  • Ensure timely enrolment to benefits plans and portals, and maintain accurate employee records.
  • Contribute to the implementation and ongoing improvement of our global HRIS.
  • Oversee compliance matters, including mandatory training, document checks, and sign-off.
  • Work proactively with leaders in the US and globally to understand their needs and drive business growth through people.
  • Anticipate and address potential employee relations or welfare matters, and propose solutions and options.
  • Deliver education and training to employees and managers, as needed.

Requirements:

  • Relevant HR qualifications or equivalent experience.
  • Proven track record of generalist Human Resources practice, preferably in a global business.
  • Broad knowledge of US-based employment, compensation, organisational planning, employee relations, and training and development.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a global HR team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with employees, managers, and external partners.
