About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Talent Development to join our team at Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. as a key member of our North American Talent Development team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Performance Management: Design, develop, and deliver a comprehensive global performance and talent enablement approach, enhancing performance management, talent reviews, succession planning, employee experience, and career development initiatives.
  • Talent Reviews & Succession Planning: Enhance the talent review and succession planning approach, creating guidance, tools, and methodologies for identifying high potentials and successors, and investing in critical talent with tailored development plans.
  • Culture & Inclusion: Promote a culture of inclusion where all employees feel valued, respected, and heard, implementing programs and activities that celebrate diverse backgrounds and perspectives.
  • Employee Experience & Engagement: Partner with internal Communications and HR teams to develop initiatives across the employee lifecycle, supporting Employee Engagement Survey efforts, analyzing results, and creating action plans.
  • Career Development: Enhance career development tools and training to empower employees, partnering with business leaders and HR Business Partners to create career paths for targeted roles.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10+ years of management experience in Human Resources, Workforce Management, Learning and Development, or Talent Acquisition.
  • Strong background in performance management, talent reviews, succession planning, employee engagement, and career development.
  • Experience with Oracle HCM and other relevant HR systems preferred.
  • Experience with 360's and personality assessments required, certifications with these tools strongly preferred.
  • Proven leadership skills with a focus on driving performance and developing others.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and work independently.
  • Knowledge of HR and Talent Management trends and best practices.
  • Experience in facilitating workshops and webinars.
Working Conditions and Physical/Mental Demands
  • Maintain composure in high-pressure situations and when dealing with senior executives, clients, and staff.
  • Meet company standards for background checks, controlled substance testing, and behavioral selection survey.
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
  • Frequent computer usage and ability to analyze data and reports.
  • Required travel up to 20%.

  • Depending on experience, Securitas will offer a starting salary of $150k to $175k, in addition to a full benefit package that includes:
