Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Vacuum Excavation Sales Representative to join our team at Vermeer All Roads in Manassas, VA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote and sell Vermeer heavy duty vacuum trucks to customers in Virginia.
  • Recognize customer needs, deliver appropriate solutions, negotiate terms of sale, and resolve any issues for the customer.
  • Follow-up on internally and externally sourced leads, develop a customer network, and maintain a customer information database with periodic reviews.
  • Schedule appointments and visit existing customers to review product needs and determine other opportunities in the commercial market.
  • Promote and demonstrate the product line, including Truck Vacs, VXT8/300, and VXT600-11.
  • Identify and qualify potential clients by telephone and premise visits to explore new markets.
  • Document information into Salesforce.
  • Assist with internal training sessions.
  • Provide information from the field as it relates to competitive product pricing and trends.
  • Work with management to develop and execute plans to increase sales.

Requirements:

  • 5 years of sales experience in a related field.
  • Valid CDL A Driver's License.
  • Work Authorization/Security Clearance.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and otherwise transport work-related materials that frequently weigh up to 50 lbs and that may occasionally weigh in excess of 80 lbs.
  • Must be able to spend a significant amount of time outdoors in the elements.
