The Shift Supervisor must be proficient in both Front of House (FOH) and Back of House (BOH) responsibilities. The individual is expected to uphold the duties outlined below and drive results through a knowledgeable team and outstanding guest service.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Daily Shift Management:
- Ensure all Team Members adhere to the established standards of conduct and policies.
- Strive to provide guests with an exceptional dining experience, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in food and beverage orders.
- Lead energetic shifts, utilizing company-provided tools to enhance performance.
- Be an active participant; if you see a need, take action to address it.
- Oversee key operational measures including cleanliness, maintenance, labor, guest service, food quality, and the restaurant's culture to meet established standards.
- Act as a guest advocate, communicating needs to Team Members to ensure satisfaction.
- Proactively manage shift preparation and administrative tasks.
- Coach, develop, and train Team Members on proper procedures during shifts.
- Inspire Team Members to reach their full potential.
- Ensure the safety of Team Members and guests throughout the shift.
- Manage and report all risk management issues according to company standards; support adherence to uniform policies.
- Assist management in areas impacting the business, including labor cost management, waste monitoring, sales, and cost of goods.
- Monitor daily cash handling procedures.
- Provide accurate inventory and reporting data.
- Respond promptly to Team Member and guest issues to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; some college education preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Minimum of 6 months of supervisory experience in food service, retail, or restaurant settings.
- Proficient in various technology systems, particularly Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and POS systems.
- Ability to lift and carry, push or pull heavy objects up to 50 pounds; kneel, bend, or stoop; ascend or descend stairs; reach and grasp objects.
- Proactive and takes initiative.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to stand for up to 10 hours per day.
- Good physical condition and strong communication skills.
- Attentive to the needs of management, staff, and guests.
- Act as a brand ambassador both inside and outside the restaurant.

- Annual Paid Vacation - Up to ten (10) days per calendar year.
