Job Overview

The Team Shift Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing Team Member shifts while embodying the culture of Saint Honor and Pizza Anonymous. This position involves collaborating with the restaurant Manager to uphold all company policies and procedures during each shift. The Shift Supervisor must be proficient in both Front of House (FOH) and Back of House (BOH) responsibilities. This role requires a commitment to driving results through knowledgeable team engagement and exceptional guest service.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Daily Shift Management:
  • Ensure all Team Members adhere to the established standards of conduct and policies.
  • Strive to provide guests with an outstanding dining experience, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in food and beverage orders.
  • Lead energetic shifts, utilizing company-provided tools to optimize performance.
  • Be an active participant in operations; if you see a need, address it promptly.
  • Implement key performance measures for cleanliness, maintenance, labor, guest service, food quality, and restaurant culture to meet established standards.
  • Act as a guest advocate, communicating needs to Team Members to ensure satisfaction.
  • Proactively manage shift preparations and administrative tasks.
Team Leadership
  • Coach, develop, and train Team Members on proper procedures during shifts.
  • Inspire Team Members to reach their full potential.
  • Ensure safety for both Team Members and guests throughout the shift.
  • Manage and report all risk management issues in accordance with company standards.
Financial Oversight
  • Assist management in areas impacting business performance, including labor cost management, waste monitoring, and sales.
  • Oversee daily cash handling procedures.
  • Provide accurate inventory and reporting data.
  • Respond promptly to Team Member and guest issues to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; some college education preferred.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Minimum of 6 months experience in food service, retail, or restaurant supervision.
  • Proficient in various technology systems, particularly Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and POS systems.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks as required.
  • Strong initiative and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods.
  • Good physical condition and alertness to management, staff, and guest needs.
  • Act as a brand ambassador both within and outside the restaurant.
