Job Description

The Canada retail team at Amazon is responsible for delivering an exceptional end-to-end experience for Canadian customers. As a key member of this team, you will play a critical role in managing strategic and established brands to drive profitability and topline performance for your category.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define the vision and business strategy for your category, including key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure results.
  • Manage category profit and loss (P&L) and develop plans to drive revenue and margin improvements.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, including negotiations and growth-focused initiatives.
  • Drive broad adoption and provide an unparalleled customer experience.
  • Develop clear frameworks for making day-to-day decisions and lead the execution of projects, including building project plans.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, such as marketing, engineering, and category management, to drive commitments and deliver results.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience with Excel and 5+ years of retail, operations, product, or program management experience, with a focus on negotiations and delivering results.
  • Bachelor's degree or 3+ years of professional or military experience.
  • Experience with financial analysis and P&L ownership.
  • Preferred qualifications include experience managing large data sets, vendor negotiations, pricing and promotion, inventory management, and product development.

Compensation:

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $141,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors, including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company, and dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
