Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans for networking and optical modules, aligning with business objectives and driving cost optimization.
- Lead cross-functional teams to analyze spending patterns, identify savings opportunities, and develop negotiation strategies to deliver against business objectives.
- Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with AWS' procurement policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with hardware engineering teams to devise sourcing and technology development plans for next-generation networking hardware.
- Partner with peers from the core category team to drive and execute a well-rounded category strategy, leveraging expertise to build supplier relationships and architect agreements.
The Networking team is a global category management team responsible for managing the broad base of networking suppliers and internal Amazon initiatives that help build the AWS cloud. We drive supply continuity, technology development and adoption, cost optimization, and internal supply chain systems development for networking categories.

- 5+ years of developing, negotiating, and executing business agreements experience.
- 5+ years of professional or military experience.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level.
- Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes, and coordinating release schedules.
- MBA or advanced degree in engineering or other quantitative disciplines.
- 4+ years of experience in product or program management of networking hardware or related electronics, electronic components, contract manufacturing (CM), original design manufacture (ODM) of networking equipment, personal computers, or servers.
- Broad supply chain experience, such as new product introduction, hardware and software qualification.
- Strong proficiency in analysis tools, including Microsoft Excel, SQL, Tableau.
- Demonstrated ability to influence at the executive level internally and with suppliers.
- Experience leading negotiations for complex, mission-critical technology.
