Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Scheduling Coordinator to join our team at Veterans Communication Services, Inc. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and confirming servicing appointments, verifying resource availability, and coordinating servicing schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and confirm servicing appointments for Project Managers
  • Assist Project Managers with bidding documents
  • Respond promptly to scheduling queries via email and phone
  • Document the scheduling process
  • Participate in implementing and maintaining programs to enhance employee experience, including benefits, compensation, employee engagement, professional development, retention, systems, and training
  • Perform routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs, including benefits and leave, performance and talent management, productivity, recognition, and morale, recruitment, occupational health and safety, and training and development
  • Prepare and deliver HR-related company communications and maintain HR pages of the company intranet
  • Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law, and maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations and recommended best practices

Requirements:

  • 4 years of work experience as an Admin assistant
  • Experience with Quickbooks, DIR, LCPTracker, or similar certified payroll management programs
  • Demonstrated effectiveness in written and verbal communication
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Knowledge of compensation strategy, performance management, employee relations, safety practices, and talent acquisition, and the ability to apply this information in a manner that is compliant with relevant employment law
  • Capable of compiling and analyzing employment data
  • Experience with creating a culture of engagement, collaboration, and teamwork
