Job Title: Consultant, Technical Account Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant, Technical Account Manager to join our team at Dell Technologies. As a key member of our Global Services organization, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional technical support and account management services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide dedicated support services to clients, serving as their primary point of contact for delivering support and coordinating operational support-related activities.
  • Be the single point of warranty support, providing customer account management on a 24x7x365 basis, including resource coordination, customer management, technical resolution management, and communications at various levels during warranty services engagements.
  • Help identify and leverage Dell and partner resources to satisfy technical needs and objectives of the customer's implementation, working closely with account teams to ensure end-to-end planning and sustainment of Dell solutions.
  • Develop and maintain customer support plans and relationships tailored to each individually unique project requirement.
  • Contribute to the development of warranty and maintenance strategies, policies, and best practices through participation in management meetings and other direct contributions.

Requirements:

  • Typically requires 12+ years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 8+ years with a Master's degree; or 5+ years with a PhD; or equivalent experience.
  • Must be a US Citizen and have a Department of Defense (DOD) Top Secret (TS)/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) with Counterintelligence-Scope (CI) Polygraph Clearance.
  • Possess technical knowledge of Dell Technologies Enterprise, Client, Services, and Software Solutions.
  • Strong project management skills with an in-depth understanding of system architecture and design.
  • Proficiency in hardware, software, and/or operating systems environments: Unix, Linux, Microsoft Windows, VMware.

Desirable Requirements:

  • Experience or knowledge of TCP/IP networking.
  • Familiarity with Dell OpenManage Client Instrumentation, Dell Enterprise Management Tools, GPGPU Technology, Hadoop, Vertica, Greenplum, Citrix, Enterprise Virtualization, Cloud Technologies, HPC.

Compensation and Benefits:

Dell Technologies offers a competitive salary range of $131,750 - $170,500, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
