Job Overview
As a key contributor, you will spearhead, design, and execute innovative technical initiatives and solutions within the realms of Business Strategy, New Product Development, and Large-Scale Production. Your goal will be to effectively meet or surpass targets related to Safety, Environmental Standards, Quality Assurance, Timeliness, Cost Efficiency, and Employee Morale.
Primary Responsibilities
- Formulate, execute, and uphold methodologies, operational sequences, and processes for the manufacturing or assembly of parts, components, sub-assemblies, and final products.
- Analyze daily reports to pinpoint potential SQD countermeasures and root cause analysis opportunities, striving for ongoing enhancement.
- Employ data analysis and PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) to lead, assist, and justify solutions in collaboration with relevant departments to address complex challenges.
Performance Monitoring
- Oversee and manage equipment and processes to guarantee optimal manufacturing performance while minimizing operational costs.
Team Development
- Enhance the capabilities of yourself and your colleagues through training, mentorship, and sharing of expertise in your technical domain.
Decision Making
- Establish priorities and make informed decisions based on data analytics to effectively achieve business objectives.
- Manage project execution, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure successful outcomes and target fulfillment.
Cost Estimation
- Assess manufacturing costs, determine time standards, and recommend tooling and process requirements for new or existing product lines.
- Test, evaluate, and implement cutting-edge technologies to enhance overall equipment and process efficiency.
Budget Management
- Develop and oversee investment and expense budgets to meet overall cost objectives.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 2-8 years of relevant experience based on educational background.
- Proficient in industry-standard software applications.
- Positive attitude, open-mindedness, and a collaborative spirit.
- Strong self-motivation and a desire to thrive in a manufacturing setting.
- Ability to lead and provide direction for others to succeed.
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Capacity to manage multiple tasks and solve complex issues through analytical approaches to propose and implement suitable countermeasures based on timing, quality, and cost.
Technical Proficiency
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities.
- Project management skills.
