As a Patient Care Coordinator at Pinnacle, you will interact with patients throughout their journey while collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure exceptional patient care.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Greet patients and visitors upon arrival, assist with appointment check-ins, and ensure all necessary documentation is accurately completed.
  • Oversee patient appointment scheduling, coordinate with medical personnel, and streamline patient flow to reduce wait times.
  • Handle sensitive patient information with utmost confidentiality, ensuring privacy is maintained at all times.
  • Assist patients with billing questions, verify insurance coverage, and process payments as required.
  • Provide essential information regarding clinic procedures, treatments, and services, or guide patients to appropriate resources for detailed explanations.
  • Manage incoming calls and emails, addressing patient inquiries or directing them to the relevant staff member.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to facilitate smooth patient flow and effective communication.
  • Maintain a well-stocked front desk area and ensure a clean, organized workspace.
  • Create a compassionate environment for patients who may be experiencing emotional challenges during their fertility journey.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Preferred 2 years of experience as a medical receptionist or front office coordinator.
  • Experience in the medical or healthcare field is advantageous.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients, medical staff, and colleagues.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills to efficiently manage appointment schedules, patient records, and administrative tasks.
  • Prior experience in a customer-facing role, particularly in a healthcare or clinical setting, is beneficial.
  • Ability to multitask and remain composed under pressure.
  • Proficiency with basic computer applications and willingness to learn clinic-specific software and electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
  • Attention to detail in recording patient information and ensuring accuracy in administrative duties.
  • Willingness to collaborate with medical staff and colleagues to deliver comprehensive patient care.
  • Adaptability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment with varying patient volumes and schedules.
  • Commitment to upholding patient privacy and confidentiality in accordance with healthcare regulations.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

$20.00 to $25.00 per hour

The compensation for this position ranges from $20.00 to $25.00 per hour. Final compensation offers will be determined based on factors such as experience, skills, and qualifications. Alongside competitive pay, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes healthcare, dental, life, and vision insurance.
