Quality Assurance Nurse

The Quality Assurance Nurse is a critical role within Northern Light Home Care and Hospice, responsible for ensuring the accuracy and compliance of clinical documentation. This position requires a skilled nurse with expertise in analyzing clinical data, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing changes to optimize reimbursement and quality of care.
Key Responsibilities:
* Analyze clinical documentation, including OASIS data, to ensure accuracy and completeness
* Collaborate with staff and leadership to identify areas for improvement and implement changes
* Utilize critical thinking and organizational skills to ensure timely processing of SOC/ROC, re-certification, and resumption of care assessments
* Review OASIS documentation for completeness and accuracy, communicating needed changes to staff
Requirements:
* Registered Nurse with a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
* 2+ years of experience in home health or hospice care
* Certification as an OASIS Specialist-Clinical or willingness to obtain within 6 months
* Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Working Conditions:

* Need to drive to perform responsible duties
