About the Role

As a Senior Biomedical Research Professional at Providence Health & Services, you will play a critical role in contributing to the planning, organization, and implementation of research activities in our cancer research laboratories. You will work independently under the supervision of the Laboratory Chief to perform scientific and administrative duties, resolving difficult or unusual problems in consultation with the Laboratory Chief.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Laboratory Chief in planning, organizing, and implementing research activities in the Cancer Research laboratories.
  • Perform scientific and administrative duties independently under the supervision of the Laboratory Chief.
  • Resolve difficult or unusual problems in consultation with the Laboratory Chief.
  • Assist and provide expertise for the research activities of new laboratory members, research fellows, graduate students, etc.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in an appropriate biomedical field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in a field of specialty or 3-5 years of experience.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is $85,000 - $115,000 per year, depending on experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes a retirement 401(k) Savings Plan with employer matching, health care benefits, life insurance, disability insurance, time off benefits, and more.
