Job Overview:
The Customer Service Representative at Medix will be responsible for executing reminder call initiatives primarily for healthcare and utility clients.
This position entails overseeing self-pay accounts, processing transactions, and ensuring prompt resolution of outstanding balances to avert service interruptions or escalation to collection agencies.
Key duties encompass managing both incoming and outgoing calls, processing payments via credit card or check, and clarifying insurance coverage when necessary.
The representative will also aid in establishing payment arrangements, assessing eligibility for charitable programs, and providing guidance on various payment options.
Additionally, the role includes dispatching statements and assisting clients with account management.Candidates should possess the ability to swiftly learn and navigate various remote client systems while ensuring adherence to state and federal regulations.
The position also includes limited training and support for colleagues working with the same clientele.This is a contract-to-hire role with working hours from 8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday.
