You will often need to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously while assisting customers: scanning products, clarifying pricing, properly bagging items, processing cash transactions, and maintaining a tidy workspace—this is just a glimpse of your daily tasks.

Compensation

The hourly wage for this position ranges from $17.00 to $26.00.
*The actual hourly rate will meet or exceed the minimum wage requirements for the job location.
Additional earnings may include annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Extra compensation in the form of premiums may be available, ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour under specific conditions. Premiums may depend on scheduling, location, seasonality, or particular tasks performed. Multiple premiums may apply if the criteria are satisfied.

Key Responsibilities

Cashier Duties

  • Welcome, engage, and express gratitude to customers with a positive demeanor.
  • Remain on your feet for extended periods while efficiently and accurately processing customer transactions.
  • Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
  • Address customer inquiries and assist them with their needs.
  • Be prepared to support fellow associates throughout the store as required.
Cart and Janitorial Responsibilities
  • Ensure customers have a positive first and last impression of our store.
  • Collect shopping carts from the parking area.
  • Utilize equipment to transport carts from the parking lot to the store.
  • Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, sales floor, and parking areas as necessary.
  • Exhibit a positive attitude in all weather conditions.
