Position: Financial Reporting Accountant

Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Financial Reporting Accountant to join our dynamic team at Jobot. This role is ideal for candidates with a strong background in property management, private equity, and experience with Yardi software. The successful candidate will oversee daily accounting functions, prepare comprehensive financial statements, and ensure adherence to regulatory standards while analyzing financial outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the operations of the accounting department.
  • Prepare and present financial statements and regulatory documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable state and federal regulations.
  • Conduct analysis and reporting on financial performance metrics.
  • Provide expert guidance on financial issues.
  • Engage in data analysis and modeling to support company leadership.
  • Assist with year-end audits and budget formulation.
  • Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.
Qualifications:
  • At least 2 years of relevant accounting experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
  • CPA designation is preferred.
  • Experience with Yardi, property management, or private equity is essential.
  • Background in Big 4 public accounting is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with financial reporting standards is necessary.
  • Understanding of GAAP principles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
