We are seeking a highly skilled Guest Service Agent to join our team at the StateView Hotel, part of the Marriott Autograph Collection. As a Guest Service Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing a warm and welcoming experience that sets the tone for their stay.
Key Responsibilities
• Greet guests with a friendly and sincere welcome, using positive and clear communication to understand their needs and preferences.
• Complete the registration process by inputting and retrieving information from our computer system, confirming pertinent details such as room rate and amenities.
• Promote our hotel's marketing programs and make recommendations to guests based on their interests.
• Verify and imprint credit cards for authorization, handle cash and make change, and balance the house bank.
• Answer phone calls and respond to guest inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
• High school diploma preferred.
• No prior experience required, but prior hospitality experience is preferred.
• Ability to maintain a neat and clean appearance and adhere to our grooming standards.
