Eagle Foods distributes its products through various retail channels across the United States, including grocery stores, club stores, mass-merchandisers, foodservice, export, military, and private label sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the transportation logistics for all finished products and raw materials.

  • Utilize multiple systems to manage material movement, planning, and scheduling effectively.
  • Develop and maintain a monthly logistics calendar to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Coordinate delivery schedules with clients to meet their needs.
  • Monitor the location and movement of inventory, finished goods, and raw materials, providing necessary reports to both internal and external stakeholders.


  • Organize and maintain documentation related to order fulfillment, distribution methods, pricing, and other contractual obligations.


  • Prepare and code the necessary paperwork for billing and authorization of various invoices according to established processes.


  • Initiate claims for overcharge/undercharge freight bills with carriers and track their resolution.
  • Adjust freight routes as necessary to meet demand and reduce costs.
  • Review daily inventory levels against outstanding orders and sales forecasts, expediting inbound shipments to fulfill customer requirements.


  • Ensure that products are shipped in the most efficient manner, adhering to documented processes, including planning transportation routes, selecting transportation modes, tendering orders, and tracking shipments from pickup to delivery.


  • Prioritize cost reduction, freight savings, service quality, and compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by building strong relationships with clients and addressing their concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction.


  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED is required.

1-2 years of experience in warehouse operations and logistics coordination is preferred.

Availability to work overtime as needed.

Experience in the food manufacturing sector is advantageous.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, along with knowledge of manufacturing processes and procedures, is essential.

Spanish language skills are a plus.

Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this role, the employee must be capable of using a keyboard and telephone. Frequent sitting, talking, and hearing are required, along with occasional standing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and lifting up to 50 lbs. The role may involve exposure to airborne dust, high humidity, and extreme heat in the production environment.
