We are seeking a skilled Mobile Crane Operator to join our team at Commercial Metals Company. As a Mobile Crane Operator, you will be responsible for safely operating a mobile crane to load and unload materials, maintain a clean and organized work area, and participate in our CMC Safety Programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition
  • Operate production equipment in accordance with established procedures and guidelines
  • Participate in the CMC Safety Programs and uphold the CMC Safety Culture
  • Load and unload materials from trucks/equipment using a mobile material handler with a grapple or magnet attachment
  • Properly identify ferrous scrap and non-ferrous scrap and place in its proper location
Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions
  • Able to work as a team player in a fast-paced environment, with strong multitasking abilities, attention to detail, and organizational skills
  • Minimum 1 year experience in either recycling and/or manufacturing environment preferred
  • Prior knowledge of metal identification is a plus
  • Previous experience operating a crane or similar equipment
