About the Role:

This position is responsible for processing customer account transactions quickly, accurately, and confidentially. The Client Service Specialist provides an exceptional banking experience to customers by building relationships and offering appropriate products and services.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, some experience in customer service, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, cash handling environment. Bilingual skills are preferred.

The Client Service Specialist will perform cash handling functions, balance cash drawers, and learn basic knowledge of new and existing products and services. They will also discuss and access customers' financial needs to identify and offer appropriate products and services.

The successful candidate will be able to work effectively as part of a team, maintain a professional demeanor at all times, and have strong organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Process customer account transactions quickly, accurately, and confidentially
  • Provide an exceptional banking experience to customers by building relationships and offering appropriate products and services
  • Perform cash handling functions, including balancing cash drawers and learning basic knowledge of new and existing products and services
  • Discuss and access customers' financial needs to identify and offer appropriate products and services
  • Work effectively as part of a team and maintain a professional demeanor at all times

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Some experience in customer service
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, cash handling environment
  • Bilingual skills preferred

Benefits:

Umpqua Bank offers a competitive total rewards package, including base wages and comprehensive benefits. The pay range for this role is $18.00 to $24.52, and the pay rate for the selected candidate is dependent upon a variety of non-discriminatory factors.

The role may be eligible for performance-based incentive compensation and those details will be provided during the recruitment process.
