Job Title: Funding and Operations Specialist

About the Company
The American Red Cross is a leading humanitarian organization dedicated to providing relief to victims of disaster, serving military members and their families, collecting and processing nearly half of the nation's blood supply, and educating the public in first aid, CPR/AED, water safety and other lifesaving skills.

About the Role
This role will play a critical part in supporting the American Red Cross' US Government funding and engagement strategy. You will be responsible for ensuring transparent and predictable guidance to Service to Armed Forces (SAF) USG funding strategy and processes. Additionally, you will support SAF's engagement on USG policy and advocacy initiatives and priorities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Address gaps in existing SAF tools and resources supporting USG proposal development and grant reporting.">
  • Maintain the SAF USG funding portfolio tracker, including active awards and applications in development.">
  • Travel to program locations to support teams in the development of specific USG funding applications, as needed.">


Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need a strong background in international nonprofit organizations, excellent communication skills, and experience working with diverse stakeholders. You must also have experience designing and delivering training modules/materials, as well as strong data management skills and proficiency in Excel and/or relational databases.

Benefits
The American Red Cross offers a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $80,000 per year, along with a comprehensive benefits package. Our employees enjoy 11 paid holidays, including six core holidays and five floating holidays. Disability and insurance options are also available, along with service awards and recognition.

Estimated Salary:$65,000 - $80,000 per year.

Other Information
This role requires 100% remote work from home, with occasional travel 1-2 times per year.
