Cybersecurity Operations Specialist

Southern New Hampshire University is a leader in higher education, and we're seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Operations Specialist to join our team. As a critical member of our Security Operations Center (SOC), you'll be responsible for monitoring and analyzing security events across our enterprise technology ecosystem.
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in information technology and 2+ years working in a security operations center or on a cybersecurity incident response team. A Bachelor's degree in information technology, data analytics, or a related field is required. Professional certifications such as ISC2 CISSP Certification, Microsoft Azure, or CompTIA Security+ are also highly valued.
This role offers a competitive salary of $100,983 - $136,624 per year, depending on experience. In this role, you'll collect and analyze log data from complex computing environments, conduct real-time monitoring of security events, and use analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and escalate potential threats. You'll also investigate complex security incidents, communicate with stakeholders at all organizational levels, and design and implement remediation plans. Experience with vulnerability management, incident response, and automation scripting is highly desirable.
