Job Summary

Carmel Partners, a leading specialist in real estate investment management, is seeking an Asset Management Analyst to support the department's goal of maximizing operations and returns at the individual asset level and the overall fund/portfolio level.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and analyze data, including performance analysis of existing assets, market data, and comprehensive reporting.
  • Develop and maintain a strong knowledge of assigned properties and regions, identifying opportunities to exceed benchmarks without negatively impacting property operations or the property's competitive position within the submarket.
  • Review weekly reports of leasing, occupancy, and trends, providing appropriate follow-up and utilizing Asset Management's operational software systems for reporting, tracking, and analysis.
  • Participate in revenue management calls to review lease pricing, monitor key property metrics, and escalate potential issues that could impact property performance.
  • Contribute to the coordination, analysis, and other efforts for specific property needs related to lease up activity, disposition preparation, and major capital project implementations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, real estate, or related field.
  • 2+ years of professional experience, ideally with a portion of that time in the real estate investment business.
  • Exceptional financial and numerical analytical skills, including experience in financial modeling.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including advanced skills in Excel.
