Market Development Manager

Role Overview

We are a leading software company specializing in change management solutions for automated production systems. Our innovative product helps industries ensure production resilience and adaptability. With our global presence and expanding footprint, we are seeking a dynamic Market Development Manager to spearhead our expansion into new regions and territories worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities and evaluate market conditions.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans for entering new markets, including go-to-market strategies, sales plans, and partnership opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the establishment of new entities in target regions, including legal, HR, and operational aspects.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key partners, customers, and stakeholders in new regions to ensure successful market entry.
  • Provide regular reports and updates on market conditions, business opportunities, and progress towards expansion goals to senior management.
  • Work closely with the sales, marketing, and product teams to ensure alignment with overall company goals and strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, International Business, or a related field; MBA or equivalent experience is a plus.
  • Ability to travel 50-75%
  • Must have 6+ years of experience in business development, including international expansion, preferably in the software or technology industry.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to assess complex market conditions and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders and local authorities.
  • Experience in setting up business entities in new regions is highly desirable.
  • Willingness to frequent international travel as needed.
