Pomponio Ranch Stallions is seeking a Sales Representative to promote and sell our locally-raised products. As a key member of our sales team, your primary role will be to develop and execute strategies to increase sales and revenue. We are looking for someone with a strong sales background, excellent customer service skills, and a flexible schedule, including weekends.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to promote and sell our products through various channels, including Farmer's Markets and outside sales events.
  • Manage current and develop new relationships with customers and suppliers to increase sales and revenue.
  • Responsible for all logistics related to the sale of products, including setup and breakdown of Farmer's Market stalls, deliveries, transportation maintenance, inventory management, and reconciliation of sales and financial transactions.
  • Perform miscellaneous ranch work as needed to support the sales team.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Experience in retail sales and excellent customer service skills.
  • Belief in sustainability, farm-to-table, and locally raised products.
  • Familiarity with market regulations and health and safety guidelines, including USDA and CDFA requirements.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and early mornings, and to tolerate all weather conditions.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and work well with minimal supervision while upholding team values, policies, and safety regulations.
  • Physical requirements:
    • Ability to work outdoors on uneven, slippery terrain in varying weather conditions with dust and allergens.
    • Ability to twist, bend, kneel, climb, and use hand tools as necessary.
    • Ability to lift approximately [insert weight] pounds.
  • Ability to adhere to the organization's policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Ability to adapt to changes throughout the day.
