Masonry Team Leader

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage a skilled team of masonry specialists, including bricklayers and stone masons, ensuring that all tasks are executed safely and to the highest quality standards.
- Collaborate with project managers and other trades to facilitate a seamless workflow and ensure projects are completed on schedule.
- Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to effectively plan and implement masonry tasks according to project specifications.
- Uphold exceptional standards of craftsmanship, ensuring all masonry work aligns with industry benchmarks and client expectations.
- Mentor and train junior masonry staff, providing support and guidance to help them enhance their skills and progress in their careers.
- Implement and enforce safety measures on-site, promoting a culture of safety awareness among all team members.
- Track project progress and manage budgets, ensuring efficient resource utilization and adherence to timelines.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in masonry construction, with expertise in bricklaying and stone masonry.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with a proven track record of motivating and guiding a team towards shared objectives.
- Strong communication skills, enabling effective interaction with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to swiftly address challenges that arise during projects.
- In-depth knowledge of masonry materials, tools, and techniques, along with the ability to read and interpret technical documents.
- A valid driver's license and dependable transportation are required.
- OSHA certification and relevant safety training are preferred qualifications.
