Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Batching Crew Leader to join our team at hrEdge Consulting. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for overseeing the batching and production operations, ensuring that all activities are carried out in compliance with food safety regulations and company standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Batching and Production Oversight: Supervise and coordinate the batching and production activities, ensuring that all processes are carried out in accordance with established procedures and protocols.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular quality checks to ensure that all products meet the required standards, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Team Management: Lead and motivate a team of production staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of production activities, including batch records, quality control data, and other relevant information.
  • Compliance and Safety: Ensure that all production activities are carried out in compliance with food safety regulations, company standards, and other relevant laws and regulations.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree in business, manufacturing, or related field preferred. Prior experience in food-related manufacturing/production preferred.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Strong leadership and communication skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team; prior experience with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP), and other relevant food safety protocols.
  • Physical Demands: Varied activities including sitting, standing (for extended periods of time), walking, bending, kneeling, lifting, pushing, pulling, and reaching.
Working Environment
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to tolerate a variety of environments both inside and outside in hot or cold temperatures and varying noise levels.
