Position Overview

Role Summary:

Our organization is seeking dedicated and driven individuals to fill the role of Desktop Support in Asheville. This position plays a crucial part in our ongoing collaboration with esteemed clients, focusing on various Desktop Support responsibilities, including:

  • Providing technical assistance for workstation software issues
  • Executing PC Installations, Moves, Adds, and Changes (IMAC)
  • Conducting system image loads
  • Managing asset recovery processes
  • Implementing asset tagging procedures
  • Offering printer support services
  • Assisting at the Client Center (Tech Bar)
  • Updating IT Service Management systems
  • Performing additional client support tasks to ensure workstation functionality and client satisfaction

Required Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in Desktop Support is preferred, though training will be provided for entry-level candidates
  • Familiarity with PC imaging techniques
  • Experience in change management and incident management
  • Proficiency with tools such as ServiceNow, Bomgar, LapLink, and Secure Disk Wipe

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification as a Dell Technician
  • Expertise in inventory management

Essential Requirements:

  • Must be able to commute to Asheville and work on-site
  • This position requires U.S. citizenship due to government contract stipulations
