Our organization is seeking dedicated and ambitious individuals to become part of our expanding team as a Desktop Support Specialist in Asheville. This role involves collaborating with our esteemed clients and managing various Desktop Support responsibilities, including:

  • Delivering Workstation Software Break Fix assistance
  • Executing IMAC – PC Install, Moves, Adds, and Changes
  • Conducting Image Loads
  • Facilitating Asset Recovery
  • Implementing Asset tagging
  • Providing Printer Support
  • Offering Client Center (Tech Bar) assistance
  • Updating IT Service Management
  • Performing additional Client Support tasks to ensure Workstation functionality and customer satisfaction

Required Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in Desktop Support is preferred, though training will be available for entry-level candidates
  • Familiarity with PC Imaging
  • Experience in change management and incident management
  • Proficiency with tools such as ServiceNow, Bomgar, LapLink, and Secure Disk Wipe

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification as a Dell Technician
  • Expertise in Inventory Management

Essential Requirements:

  • Must reside within commuting distance of Asheville and be prepared to work onsite
  • This position requires U.S. citizenship status due to government contract stipulations
