PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversee all facets of store operations, ensuring compliance with company standards and best practices. Lead the store team to achieve sales and profitability goals while maintaining a welcoming shopping environment. Recruit, train, and develop staff to enhance performance and customer service.
KEY FUNCTIONS:
Operational Excellence:

Implement company best practices to maximize efficiency and productivity.

Review store performance reports to manage expenses and enhance overall performance.

Address deviations from company standards with actionable plans, collaborating with upper management as necessary.

Ensure effective scheduling of staff to meet operational needs.

Accept additional responsibilities as assigned by leadership.

Manage payroll processes, including scheduling compliance and reporting.
Team Development:

Recruit, train, and mentor Assistant Managers and Associates.

Focus on reducing turnover through effective training and motivation strategies.

Address performance issues through coaching and disciplinary actions when required.

Ensure adherence to company policies and legal regulations.
Financial Management:

Maintain expenditures within budgetary limits.

Control payroll hours in alignment with business trends.
Safety and Security:

Uphold company safety policies to protect employees and customers.

Ensure all staff are trained in emergency procedures.
Customer Engagement:

Treat all customers and team members with respect and professionalism.

Promote customer service initiatives through training and supervision.

Lead by example in providing exceptional service across all store areas.
Store Presentation:

Ensure a professional appearance among all store associates, adhering to company dress standards.

Maintain a clean and organized shopping environment.
Merchandise Management:

Oversee merchandise processing and presentation according to company guidelines.

Ensure timely processing of new merchandise to the sales floor.
Loss Prevention:

Train staff on loss prevention strategies to minimize shrinkage.

Maintain integrity and confidentiality in all transactions and interactions.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum of five years of management experience in a retail setting.

Strong commitment to customer service excellence.

Proven ability to lead and motivate a diverse team.

Capable of organizing and prioritizing tasks effectively.

Fluency in English is required.

Must be available to work evenings and weekends.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Ability to utilize store equipment and perform physical tasks as needed. This includes standing, walking, bending, and lifting as part of daily responsibilities.
SUPERVISORY ROLE:
Directly supervise Assistant Managers and retail associates, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
