Key Responsibilities- Provide leadership for all pharmacy programs, including patient care services, research, academic training, and business affairs of the Department of Pharmacy.
- Establish productive relationships with Senior Leadership, medical staff, and department heads to optimize all aspects of medication management and formulary management across the enterprise.
- Ensure that pharmaceutical care at the organization is safe and consistent with existing regulations of The Joint Commission, New York State codes, rules, and regulations for hospitals, existing Federal Law, and current findings for acceptable pharmacy practices.
Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center was founded in 1898 and is among a select few comprehensive cancer centers in the nation designated by the National Cancer Institute. We focus on translational research, high-quality patient care, and education. Our team of nearly 4,000 employees, including 359 faculty, care for nearly 50,000 patients under active care.
Requirements- License to practice as a Registered Pharmacist in the State of New York or eligible through reciprocity.
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy degree and six (6) years of leadership experience as a Director of Pharmacy, Associate Director of Pharmacy, or Assistant Director of Pharmacy in a large community or university teaching hospital or healthcare system.
