About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Information Officer to join our team at Neighborhood Health Center - WNY. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing IT strategies that support our organization's mission and goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement IT strategic plans to support health center success
  • Define IT performance metrics and control performance objectives and IT budget
  • Develop forward-looking models and initiatives to provide insight into clinical operations, provision of care, and efficiency
  • Plan and manage annual IT work plan and budgetary needs, and maintain an IT roadmap and technology capital budget
  • Work with VPF to ensure timeliness, accuracy, and usefulness of technology-related financial and management reporting
  • Standardize IT processes across the organization by holding self and staff accountable to use and update policies and procedures
  • Lead and manage projects to optimize Electronic Health Records (EHR) system and VoIP systems
  • Serve as in-house expert on HIPAA Security and lead on ensuring encryption and other standards and best practices are being met
  • Align IT risk management with organization-wide risk management
  • Ensure data interfaces between EHR and other systems remain secure and function properly
Requirements
  • BS or BA Degree required or Master's (preferred)
  • At least 10 years of experience within a Healthcare Information role
  • Experience in a senior role, partnering with executive staff, resulting in development and implementation of IT, information management, and business process management strategies
  • Significant experience in and knowledge of all facets of IT, including systems applications, database administration, financial systems, networks, telecommunications, computer hardware and software, etc.
  • Deep experience in troubleshooting and crisis management
  • Experience hiring, developing, and coaching teams
  • Excellent analytical and abstract reasoning skills, plus excellent organization skills
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $110,000-$115,000 per year, based on full-time, 40-hour work week. Additionally, we provide comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, life insurance, 403b match, health savings accounts, generous paid time off, and loan forgiveness, if applicable.
