We are seeking enthusiastic Wellness Coordinators/Medical Receptionists to join our team in providing exceptional care at our clinic locations. Candidates should be prepared to commute to various clinic sites.

The Wellness Coordinator/Medical Receptionist plays a vital role in supporting the clinic team to deliver quality care to our clients in a busy environment. This position involves assisting the Nurse with various responsibilities while enhancing the overall customer experience at Hydration Room.

This is a part-time position requiring availability 2-4 days a week, including Wednesday through Sunday. The role is non-exempt and reports directly to the District Clinic Manager.

At Hydration Room, we offer a competitive hourly wage along with an average of $2-$4 per hour in tips and an IV perks program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide essential administrative and clerical support to facilitate patient care.
  • Collaborate with the RN to manage clinic and nursing supplies by monitoring inventory levels and anticipating needs.
  • Ensure compliance with Hydration Room standards through regular inspections before and after each shift.
  • Maintain a safe, secure, and clean environment for clients by adhering to cleanliness protocols.
  • Log into the tip system to accurately track staff clock-in and clock-out times.
  • Assist clients with the point-of-sale system during service transactions, including cash handling procedures.
  • Retrieve and respond to phone messages and manage chart documentation promptly.
  • Conduct follow-up calls for new patients, ensuring any questions are directed to the nurse.
  • Restock IV carts and supplies in the nurse's area, notifying the nurse of any shortages.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the clinic team, RN, or physician.
  • Act as a liaison between management and clinic staff to communicate updates on promotions and protocols.
  • Fulfill other related responsibilities as required by management.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of current medical practices and principles.
  • Ability to quickly follow directions from the Registered Nurse.
  • Excellent communication and active listening skills.
  • Self-assured and confident demeanor.
  • Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in customer interaction and retention strategies.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Medical Assistant Certification is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Prior experience as a Medical Assistant is preferred.
  • Experience in customer service is also preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit for extended periods while working on a computer.
  • Ability to stand for prolonged periods.
  • Must be able to navigate the entire facility.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
