The Authorization Nurse Specialist plays a crucial role in facilitating the reimbursement process for Baptist Health by ensuring that insurance providers are ready to authorize payment for scheduled medical services in line with established agreements.

Key Responsibilities:
- Initiate contact with insurance companies to secure necessary service approvals.
- Gather relevant financial and demographic data from patients as required.

Qualifications:
- Must possess a valid LPN License in Arkansas.
- Educational background from an accredited institution is essential.
- A minimum of two years of experience in a healthcare environment performing similar duties is preferred.
- Strong communication and customer service abilities are vital.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and healthcare insurance procedures is necessary.
- Exceptional attention to detail and the capability to manage multiple tasks effectively.


Additional Information:
This position will be authorized for 80.00 hours bi-weekly.
