Job Description

The Caton Companies is a leading provider of manufactured housing community management services, with a strong presence in Virginia. We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Property Manager to oversee the management of our communities in Glen Allen, Charlottesville, and Staunton.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet with residents to collect rent payments and resolve any issues related to late payments.
  • Show available units to prospective residents and provide office coverage at all communities as needed.
  • Assist with operational activities, leasing, and marketing at all properties.
  • Protect, maintain, and enhance the value of commercial real estate assets to maximize financial returns for owners and benefit tenants, consumers, and the community.

Requirements:

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of manufactured home construction techniques, maintenance, marketing, and advertising.
  • Strong sales and customer service skills, with experience as a leader of people.
  • Skilled in budget preparation, financial analysis, professional correspondence, market analysis, and property inspections.
  • High energy sales personality with excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
  • Strong administrative skills and problem-solving ability, with mid-level skills in Microsoft Office products.

Supervisory Responsibility:

To hire, train, schedule, and supervise all property associates.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, with professional knowledge of business disciplines.
  • Knowledge of manufactured housing sales and marketing.
  • Achieve Fair Housing certification prior to interacting with prospects or residents.
