Medical Assistant Training Program

MyMichigan Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our healthcare team.
Responsibilities- Provide responsible communication in a healthcare setting
- Comply with HIPAA/HITECH, OSHA, CMS, and other healthcare regulations and laws
- Comprehend the use of Diagnosis and Procedure codes and employ Electronic Health Records
- Gain an understanding of laboratory and specimen collection, cardiopulmonary testing, pharmacology, and medication administration
- Record vital signs, take medical histories, and prepare patients and rooms for examinations
The Medical Assistant training program is designed to prepare students for the Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) exam. The program includes all necessary materials and a CCMA exam voucher.
Program Details- Program Length: 15 weeks
- Training Format: Online/on-demand format, accessible 24/7
- Required Education: High school diploma or equivalent
- Program Cost: $2,495 (covered by MyMichigan Health as part of a 2-year work commitment)
To apply for the Medical Assistant training program, complete the online registration form and submit a payment option. We can invoice your organization for multiple registrations. Additionally, you must pass a criminal background check and submit a negative TB test. You must be at least 18 years old to apply.
