Job Summary

We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join our team at Texas Oncology in Midland, TX. This is a full-time position that will support our oncology clinic, providing exceptional patient care and administrative support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist physicians and clinicians with patient care duties in a clinical environment
  • Promote efficient patient flow and patient care, including exams and procedures
  • Perform clinic support tasks, including miscellaneous clerical tasks, answering phones, and maintaining physician schedules
  • Support and adhere to the US Oncology Compliance Program, including the Code of Ethics and Business Standards
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Certificate of graduation from an accredited program for Medical Assistants preferred
  • Current BCLS certification required within 3 months of hire
  • Certified Medical Assistant preferred
Work Environment

This position requires working in a fast-paced clinical environment, with exposure to communicable diseases, toxic substances, ionizing radiation, medical preparations, and other conditions common to an oncology/hematology clinic environment.
