Job Summary

The Associate Director of Development for the Betty Irene Moore School of Nursing is a key member of the Health Sciences Development & Alumni Relations team. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing fundraising programs to support the School of Nursing's mission to prepare change makers in healthcare and advance health solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of professional or volunteer fundraising experience, with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding fundraising goals. They will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with donors, faculty, and volunteer leaders.

The Associate Director of Development will work closely with the Senior Director of Development to develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy, including identifying new donor prospects, researching and building relationships with existing donors, and developing and implementing fundraising campaigns.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced fundraising professional to join the UC Davis Health team and contribute to the advancement of healthcare education and research.

  • Develop and implement fundraising strategies to support the School of Nursing's mission and goals.
  • Identify and build relationships with new donor prospects, including individuals, foundations, and corporations.
  • Research and analyze donor data to inform fundraising strategies and identify new opportunities.
  • Develop and implement fundraising campaigns, including events, solicitations, and stewardship programs.
  • Work closely with the Senior Director of Development to develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy.
  • Collaborate with faculty and staff to identify and pursue funding opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with donors, including regular communication and stewardship.
  • Meet and exceed fundraising goals, with a focus on major gifts and planned giving.
