Key Responsibilities

As a Nuclear Medicine Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Performing diagnostic imaging procedures using nuclear medicine modalities
  • Analyzing biological specimens and assisting with therapeutic and diagnostic procedures
  • Maintaining patient safety protocols and adhering to federal, state, and local regulatory requirements
  • Participating in continuous quality improvement activities

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A graduate degree from an approved Nuclear Medicine Technology program or an Associate's degree in a related field
  • Current BLS certification
  • A California State Department of Health Services' certificate as a Certified Technologist, Nuclear Medicine, all scopes including venipuncture
  • Possession of a Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board - Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - Nuclear Medicine Technology (N) certification is preferred
