Nuclear Medicine Imaging Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at MLee Healthcare Staffing and Recruiting, Inc. This role is a great opportunity for a dedicated professional to make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients.
Key Responsibilities:
Patient Care:
Prepare and position patients for nuclear medicine procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process.
Imaging Procedures:
Perform a range of nuclear medicine imaging procedures, including PET, SPECT, and other specialized scans, following established protocols and safety standards.
Radiopharmaceuticals:
Prepare, administer, and monitor radiopharmaceuticals, ensuring proper dosage and handling in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
Equipment Operation:
Operate and maintain sophisticated imaging equipment, ensuring optimal performance and troubleshooting any technical issues.
Data Analysis:
Analyze imaging results, prepare detailed reports, and collaborate with physicians to interpret findings and determine the best course of action.
Compliance:
Adhere to all safety and regulatory standards, including radiation safety protocols, to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
Requirements:
Certification:
Current certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB or ARRT-N) required.
Education:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or related field.
Experience:
Prior experience in a hospital setting preferred, but new graduates with strong clinical skills are welcome to apply.
