About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative to join our team at Embrace Hospice & Home Health. As a key member of our Business Development and Sales team, you will play a critical role in establishing partnerships and strategies to drive business growth and excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and Qualify New Business Opportunities: Work with our RVP of Sales to assess the profitability and strategic impact of new business opportunities on our pharmacy and region, with the goal of achieving annual revenue targets.
  • Identify and Pursue Business Opportunities: Collaborate with our RVP of Sales to identify new business opportunities through sales calls, referrals, targeting reports, and CRM, and communicate with skilled nursing, assisted living, subacute, and managed care organizations to assess market needs.
  • Contracting and Account Management: Work with our RVP of Sales to finalize contracting, coordinate the startup of new accounts, and transition account services to our pharmacy operations upon obtaining service commitments from clients.
  • Strategic Territory Planning: Utilize marketing segmentation information to develop strategic territory plans and execute those plans to budget time effectively and target high-potential prospective customers.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Work with our RVP of Sales and local Pharmacy Director to maintain and strengthen customer relationships by providing ongoing support and value to customers through our products and services.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Communicate with other pharmacy team members to uncover leads and resolve customer service concerns.
  • Administrative and Reporting Tasks: Complete sales, reporting, and contracting for new business and other administrative procedures as determined by our RVP of Sales in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Sales Training and Process Implementation: Successfully complete all components of sales training and implement sales processes and procedures, such as pre-call planning, into everyday practice.
  • Industry Trade Shows and Events: Participate in local, state, and national industry trade shows as required to grow our area of responsibility.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Two or more years of prior sales experience, with a background in long-term care and healthcare sales preferred.
  • Skills: Proficient computer skills in MS Office Suite, including MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Outlook. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel 75%.
